Find out moreThis FAKRO flashing has been created for use with high-profile roofs at a roof pitch between 15° and 60° and on flat roofs. As part of the FAKRO light tunnels, this flashing can be fitted for rooms that cannot be installed with vertical windows or roof windows to help illuminate any room within your building.
The FAKRO light tunnels enable natural light inside rooms devoid of daylight for improved brightness. In other rooms, the light tunnel can provide an additional light source to save energy costs while enhancing comfort. Via the light transmitting tube, sunlight is carried and reflected from the walls and directed downwards to the diffuser which is fixed in the ceiling to evenly disperse light into the room.

Question:
I have a tiled roof, and wish to bring light to a stair well and landing, effectively to the centre of a small terraced house. I am not sure whether a single light would be enough, but imagine it would be. The alternative would be a second light directly into the stair well. I don't think the roof profile is particularly high, but wonder which type of light would suit best, and wonder what counts as a high profile. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, is there any difficulty in shipping to Northern Ireland.
