This FAKRO modular triple glazed flat roof window has been manufactured specifically to create a bright internal environment whilst not compromising on thermal efficiency.
The FAKRO triple glazed roof window with secure glazing is available in 1000 x 1700mm, and is manually operated, so can be used to create a flow of fresh air and ventilation when opened with a 2.2m control rod.
This FAKRO manual triple glazed window should be installed on flat roofs that have a pitch of between 2 and 15 degrees - if any lower than 2 degrees rainwater will not flow off the surface of the roof window efficiently.
The triple glazed flat roof window from FAKRO has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that enters the room. The specially designed shapes of the sash and frame ensure that the flat roof windows feature up to 16% greater glazing area compared with other manufacturer’s windows of the same size.
Due to the manual operation, the FAKRO modular flat roof window is a source of natural ventilation as well as natural daylight. By opening the FAKRO modular triple glazed window, you create a flow of fresh air which improves the internal comfort of the environment.
Another key feature of the FAKRO manual modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated triple glazing, which includes a layer of glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, as well as a 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission coating.
The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the double glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.
This modular triple glazed flat window is supplied with a kerb for installation. The window is also supplied with a specially profiled covering material, which sits beneath the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight connection between the roof window and the roofing material.
If required, the fixed modular flat roof window can be installed on an additional XRD base. This allows the flat roof window to be installed on green roofs and in other situations where the window needs to be lifted slightly above the surface of the roof.
