Find out moreFakro's FPP-V/C conservation window is designed for old, historic and traditional-looking buildings.
It's characteristic feature is the sash bar down the middle of the window, and black (similar to RAL 9005) metal covering on the window and flashing which is designed to suit traditional buildings.
Using the Fakro sash bar, the window retains the unique historic character of the building from the outside while creating a comfortable and modern interior.
FPP top hung and pivot windows are equipped with two independent opening mechanisms. The sash of the window can be opened outwards form the top and via centre pivot. The outward opening function enables the sash to be opened in any position from 0 to 35 degrees which allows an easy approach to the opened window.
The pivot function enables the sash to be rotated through 180 degrees and is used when cleaning the outer pane. The newly patented operating mechanism guarantees complete sash stability. The opening method can be switched using the preSelect sliding switch in the frame, accessible when the window is open.

Question:
Hi, I'm looking at Fakro FPP-V/C P5/09 Pine Conservation Roof Window - 94cm x 140cm. Can you tell me if I can fit and electric kit to it please? Nothing too clever, just a switch on the wall will do to open and shut the window, maybe also to open and close the blind. Also I'm confused about the flashing kits, my tiles are similar to Redland Old Hollow Clay Roof Pantile, any ideas which kit I should order please? When you quote the tile measurement what are you measuring? Last question, I'm not wild about the pretend glazing bar down the centre of the window, is this optional or can I just remove it? Thanks so much, Peter
Answer:
Hi Peter
I will get one of the team to call you and talk you through it all as the conservation windows are not standard.
