Fabricated from aluminium with a polyester varnish coating for additional durability, this flashing comes in a brown, grey tone as standard which is a perfect match for most roof tiles. As an integral part of installing your FAKRO windows, this flashing is an incredibly important yet disregarded part of the process. Ideal for creating a watertight seal between the roof tiles and roof window, this flashing ensures that your window is fitted correctly to provide a neat finish.
Combining a visually pleasing appearance with functionality, this FAKRO flashing with a ridged design can protect your window from weather conditions by inhibiting water from entering at weak points where the window connects to the roof, delivering effective rainwater drainage. This FARKO flashing eliminates the risk of water penetration which in turn prevents structural issues from damp accumulating over time and helps to enhance the life expectancy of your roof and standard roof window.
Suitable for various tile types, the flashing for tiles up to 90mm thick has been created for deep profiled interlocking tiles including Double Roman, Double Pantile, Sandtoft Shire, Forticrete Centurion and Senator tiles, Redland pantiles and many more. The flashing for tiles up to 45mm thick has been designed for profiled interlocking tiles such as Forticrete Hardrow and Minislate and Redland Landmark, Redland Saxon, Marley Ludlow, Marley Double Roman and Marley Ashmore tiles.
