Description

This FAKRO electric flat roof window, available in 1000 x 1500mm, has been designed to maximise the amount of daylight that enters a room and provide ventilation when required, but without compromising on the thermal efficiency of the building. The quad glazed electric flat roof window can be installed on any flat roof that is between 2 and 15 degrees. It is important to ensure the roof has a pitch of a minimum of 2 degrees to ensure that water runs off efficiently, and does not pool on the flat roof window. This FAKRO flat roof window is operated electrically, using the FAKRO Z-wave wireless system. The Z-wave system is FAKRO's wireless control system that allows the control of any electrical devices that are manufactured by FAKRO. This means that the flat roof window can be controlled using the same control panel or remote control as the window blind, or other FAKRO roof windows.

Maximise daylight:

The key feature of the FAKRO electric modular window is to bring natural daylight into the room, and this FAKRO window has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that passes through. The sash and frame has been precisely designed to ensure they do not obstruct any light, and as a result this FAKRO window allows up to 16% more sunlight through than other similar roof windows from other manufacturers.

Ventilation:

Due to the electric operation of the flat roof window, the FAKRO modular flat roof window is a source of natural ventilation as well as natural daylight. By opening the FAKRO modular quad glazed window, you create a flow of fresh air which improves the internal comfort of the environment.

Minimise heat loss:

Another key feature of the FAKRO electric modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated quad glazing, which includes a layer of glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, as well as a 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission coating. The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the quad glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.

Ease of installation:

This electric modular rooflight is supplied with a kerb for easy installation. Additionally, a specially profiled material sits beneath the drip cap of the frame to create a tight finish between the roof window and the roof. If required, an additional base can be used to increase the height of the window. This is perfect for green roofs and other circumstances where the roof window needs to be mounted by 15cm.
