This FAKRO fixed modular rooflight has been manufactured for installation on a flat roof window, to provide maximum natural light to brighten up a room, whilst achieving minimal heat loss. This FAKRO flat roof window is a great way to transform a room, and can be installed on all flat roofs that have between 2 and 15 degree pitches.
This modular double glazed flat window is available in 1200 x 2200mm and is non-opening. By installing this 1200 x 2200mm double glazed flat window you not only maximise the amount of natural light that enters the room, you also minimise electricity bills.
The flat roof window from FAKRO has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that enters the room. The specially designed shapes of the sash and frame ensure that the flat roof windows feature up to 16% greater glazing area compared with other manufacturers’ windows of the same size.
Another key feature of the FAKRO fixed modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated double glazing, consisting of a layer of glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, followed by another 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission coating.
The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the double glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.
The FAKRO modular double glazed window is supplied with a specially profiled covering material, which sits beneath the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight connection between the roof window and the roofing material.
If required, the fixed modular flat roof window can be installed on an additional XRD base. This allows the flat roof window to be installed on green roofs and in other situations where the window needs to be lifted slightly above the surface of the roof.
