This FAKRO DRF-DU7 rooflight is manufactured with special hinges and gas springs, enabling the window to open by up to 80 degrees. The gas springs also help to ensure the window remains open and stable, to prevent accidental closure. For extra safety, the access window also features an anti-slip coating on the outer surface.
The FAKRO flat access rooflight frame is manufactured from multi-chamber PVC profiles, which are then filled with insulating material. The upper part of the FAKRO flat access rooflight consists of an innovative flat glazing unit which provides thermal resistance as well as a clear view to allow daylight to stream into the room below.
The FAKRO flat roof access window can be installed with an additional base if required, raising the rooflight by 15cm. This is perfect for situations where the rooflight needs to be higher than the roof itself, for example when installing green roofs, or where the roof covering is thicker than usual.
