This double glazed window from FAKRO is operated electrically with the use of a wireless Z-wave system that enables control of any electrical devices that are made by FAKRO. This ensures that this flat roof window can be operated with the same remote control or control panel as the window blind or other FAKRO roof windows.

Suitable for flat roof installations with a roof pitch between 2° and 15°, this FAKRO roof window requires a minimum of 2° so that rainwater can run off the surface effectively. Specifically designed to maximise the amount of daylight that enters the room, this roof window has a specially shaped sash and frame for up to 16% greater glazing area than other manufacturers' windows of the same size.

Due to the electric operation, this FAKRO modular flat roof window provides a source of natural ventilation by opening to create a flow of fresh air to enhance the internal comfort of your environment. Offering P2 laminated double glazing, this FAKRO roof window has a 6.2mm inner glass pane with a low emission layer and an outer glass pane with an argon gas cavity. Double glazing combined with a multi-chambered uPVC upstand delivers exceptional thermal efficiency for this flat roof window.

Supplied with a kerb for ease of installation, this FAKRO window comes with a specially profiled covering material that is positioned below the drip cap of the frame to create a tight seal between the roofing material and the window. This fixed modular flat roof window can be fitted with an additional XRD base if required to enable suitability for green roofs and other circumstances where the window needs to be lifted marginally above the roof's surface.

Maximise daylight:

The double glazed flat roof window from FAKRO has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that enters the room. The specially designed shapes of the sash and frame on the electric modular roof window ensure that the flat roof windows feature up to 16% greater glazing area compared with other manufacturer's windows of the same size.

Minimise heat loss:

  • Another key feature of the FAKRO electric modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated double glazing, which includes a layer of glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, as well as a 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission coating. The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the double glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.

Ease of installation:

  • This modular double glazed flat window is supplied with a kerb for installation. The window is also supplied with a specially profiled covering material, which sits beneath the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight connection between the roof window and the roofing material. If required, the fixed modular flat roof window can be installed on an additional XRD base. This allows the flat roof window to be installed on green roofs and in other situations where the window needs to be lifted slightly above the surface of the roof.
