This FAKRO quadruple glazed flat roof window can be installed on any flat roof with a roof pitch between 2° and 15°. A minimum pitch of 2° is necessary so that rainwater runs off this flat roof window's surface efficiently without pooling.

Electrically operated using the FAKRO Z-wave wireless system to allow control of any FAKRO electrical products, this FAKRO flat roof window can be used with the same remote control or control panel as other FAKRO roof windows or window blinds. As a natural source of ventilation, this modular flat roof window can be opened to allow fresh air to flow into the environment to enhance internal comfort.

As well as ventilation, this FAKRO flat roof window maximises the amount of natural daylight that enters the room with a specifically shaped frame and sash to deliver up to 16% greater glazing area compared to alternative same sized manufacturer's windows. Additionally, this flat roof window includes P2 laminated quad glazing with an external glass pane with an argon gas cavity and a 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission layer. This quadruple glazing combined with a uPVC upstand that has a multi-chamber design that improves thermal efficiency and minimises heat loss.

Including a specially profiled covering material that sits below the drip cap of the window frame to ensure a secure connection between the roofing material and the window, this FAKRO flat roof window is supplied with a kerb for an easy installation. If needed, this fixed modular flat roof window can be fitted onto an extra XRD base so that it can be installed on green roofs or for other situations where it requires to be slightly raised above the roof's surface.

Maximise daylight:

The double glazed flat roof window from FAKRO has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that enters the room. The specially designed shapes of the sash and frame on the electric modular roof window ensure that the flat roof windows feature up to 16% greater glazing area compared with other manufacturer's windows of the same size.

Minimise heat loss:

  • Another key feature of the FAKRO electric modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated double glazing, which includes a layer of glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, as well as a 6.2mm internal glass pane with a low emission coating. The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the double glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.

Ease of installation:

  • This modular double glazed flat window is supplied with a kerb for installation. The window is also supplied with a specially profiled covering material, which sits beneath the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight connection between the roof window and the roofing material. If required, the fixed modular flat roof window can be installed on an additional XRD base. This allows the flat roof window to be installed on green roofs and in other situations where the window needs to be lifted slightly above the surface of the roof.
