Find out moreThis FAKRO vertical combination flashing has been made for when a block of six FAKRO roof windows are being fitted onto a tiled roof in a vertical pattern with two columns of three windows.
With a range of sizes to fit your window requirements, this FAKRO flashing is suitable for a variety of tiled roof types with various profiles to choose from. For plain tiles up to 16mm thick, the flashing has been designed for non-interlocking plain tiles such as Redland Rosemary Clay, Forticrete, Redland, Marely Acme and Ashdowne plain tiles and many more. The flashing for tiles up to 45mm thick has been created for profiled interlocking tiles that include Marley Ludlow, Marley Ashmore, Marley Double Roman, Redland Landmark and Redland Saxon tiles and Forticrete Hardrow and Minislate. The flashing for tiles up to 90mm thick has been constructed for deep profiled interlocking tiles including Double Pantile, Double Roman, Redland pantiles, Sandtoft shire, Forticrete Centurion and Senator tiles and much more.
As an integral component of your FAKRO window installation, this flashing is an incredibly vital yet often overlooked part of your roof windows. Fabricated from aluminium and formed with a ridged profile in some sections, this flashing is malleable so that it can fit securely around the windows and roof tiles. Ideal for creating a watertight connection between the roof tiles and windows, this FAKRO flashing delivers a neat finish while ensuring that your windows are mounted accurately, allowing a gap of around 10cm between each window.
This visually pleasing yet protective flashing is utilised to shield your windows from weather conditions to provide effective rainwater drainage to stop water penetration into weak points where your windows join to the roof. This helps to inhibit damp, condensation and structuring issues from arising over time while improving the lifespan of your windows and roof.
