This FAKRO flashing is an essential part of installing your FAKRO conservation windows and although frequently overlooked, it is especially important. Allowing a gap of approximately 10cm between each window, this flashing provides a watertight seal between your roof windows and tiles for an accurate fitting and neat finish.
Coordinating an attractive aesthetic with practicality, this FAKRO flashing ensures protection for your windows from weather conditions, eliminating the risk of water penetration into the points where your windows attach to your roof for efficient rainwater drainage. This helps to prevent condensation, damp and structural problems from transpiring over time while enhancing the lifespan of your roof and windows.
With different types of flashing to choose from for a variety of tile profiles, this FAKRO combination flashing for conservation windows is available in a range of tile type compatibilities. For tiles up to 45mmm thick, the flashing has been created for profiled interlocking tiles such as Forticrete Hardrow and Minislate and Marley Ashmore, Marley Ludlow, Marley Double Roman, Redland Saxon and Redland Landmark tiles. The flashing for plain tiles up to 16mm thick has been designed for non-interlocking plain tiles that include Redland Rosemary Clay, Ashdowne, Marley Acme, Redland and Forticrete plain tiles and many more. For tiles up to 90mm thick, the flashing is fabricated for deep profiled interlocking tiles including Sandtoft Shire, Redland pantiles, Double Pantile, Double Roman, Forticrete Centurion and Senator tiles.
