For application, simply cut the cartridge tip, taking care not to damage the thread. Then, attach the nozzle, cut the aperture width as needed and apply with a standard sealant gun. For joints, follow the recommended ratios and reduce joint depth using Everflex expanding foam or joint backer rod if necessary. Ensure that the joint design only allows adhesion to two surfaces, as three-sided adhesion can impede flexibility. When applied in a joint configuration, use masking tape to prevent contamination and ensure neat sealing lines. Remove the tape immediately after tooling and tool the sealant within five minutes of application for a professional and smooth finish.
Store this Stixall Extreme Power Adhesive in cool, dry conditions between 5°C and 25°C for optimal performance. The shelf life of unopened containers is 12 months.
