With a low viscosity, high solids, heavy duty alkyd based composition, this Everbuild floor paint is an ideal solution to forming a clean hard-wearing finish on various floors. It is suited to concrete, stone, and wooden floors, subject to light to medium traffic, including forklift trucks, scissor lifts and similar appliances.
A go-to choice for garages, workshops, walkways, and storerooms, this paint boats exceptional abrasion resistance and durability for long-lasting performance. It's also resistant to oils, as well as dilute acids and alkalis, ensuring resilient finish that can stand up to use over time.
Before application, it is essential that concrete is a minimum of six months old. Although priming is generally not mandatory, if deemed necessary, a priming coat consisting of a mixture of one part white spirit to four parts paint can be applied and left to dry. The drying time of Everbuild floor paint varies according to the ambient temperature, but it typically dries within two to three hours after application.
Ensure that surfaces are clean, free of any grease or other contaminants, and completely dry to the touch. Eliminate any loose or peeling material using a scraper and stiff brush until the surface is sound. Banish any traces of moss or mould using Everbuild moss and mould remover. In certain cases, chemically or mechanically hardened floors may need abrasion before use. It is advisable to test a small area before applying to the entire surface if any uncertainty exists.
