Find out moreAble to expand up to 50 times its volume upon application, Everbuild's B2 Expanding Firefoam Gun Grade sets in an impressively short amount of time. The one-part polyurethane foam features excellent fire-resistant properties, effectively preventing the movement of smoke and flames.
Easily applied with an Everbuild Professional Foam Gun, this Firefoam can be sawn, cut and plastered over after an hour of curing when at a working temperature (can and surfaces) of +5°C to +25°C (preferably 20°C). It conforms to the requirements and guidelines of DIN 4102 Part 1 for Construction Materials; Class B2.
You can use this product to insulate behind cladding to exterior walls and soffit/barge boards, even in automotive applications. Fantastic for filling gaps, it is possible to apply to concrete, brick and stone, around pipe entries in fire-rated walls, fire-rated window and door frames, and before sealant and plaster in deep joints. You can further utilise B2 Expanding FireFoam Gun Grade when electrical wire chasing before you plaster in places where a fire rating is necessary, as well as for fixing window frames, timber structures, door frames, window sills and thresholds.
