Eurodec's high-strength 50mm Flat Concrete Coping Stone is ideal for creating a decorative finish to the top of your parapet or garden wall and acting as excellent protection from rainwater penetration. Featuring two 10mm wide drip grooves underneath, positioned 20mm from either side of the stone, it will help shield your wall from water damage and potential staining by allowing rainwater to drop to the floor.

The corners have a slightly tapered finish because of how the coping stones are removed from their mould. Each corner is tapered no more than 10mm due to being handmade and is subject to the manufacturer's tolerances.

This Eurodec coping stone is made to order and resistant to UV in typical climate conditions. Thanks to its UV resistance, the colour will not fade in sunlight. As it is manufactured from natural, quarried materials, there will be variations in colour in different batches. It's also worth noting that the true finish will not be revealed until a period of exposure to sunlight and some weathering.

Please note:

  • You must not use acid-based cleaners on Eurodec Concrete Coping Stones.
  • It is advised that you test any cleaner on a small area before using it. Similarly, you must avoid high-pressure washers as the jet can damage the stone's surface and weaken the bond between the stone and substrate.
  • Staining can also arise from plants in the immediate vicinity.
  • Handmade parts are prone to 10mm tapering at the corners and manufacturing tolerances.

You can not walk on these coping stones

you need 30mm over hang both sides, so 20mm and then a 10mm drip

I have bought 30 of these flat copes, every second cope is stained with white streaks, how should I clean them.

Did they get wet before you put them on the wall? You will get some staining if that's the case. There is no chemical remover that I know of and it should go over time. But if you are really concerned then give my supplier a call - 01985 844669 - If they recommend a product they sell, let me know and I will get you a discounted quote

It says this product has drip grooves but on your description it says flat stones do not have drip grooves. Which one is correct. Thank you

These do have drip grooves - any that do not will specify this in the notes on that specific size of stone.

Drip Grooves

  • 15mm from either side of the stone.
  • 10mm groove width.

Is the colour advertised Slate? Presumably grey is lighter? Many thanks

Yes the grey is a natural light concrete grey, and the slate is a darker grey.

We want to fix glass balustrade to these are they suitable?

Answer:

Not on their own I am afraid.

If you want them with ballustrade fixing you also need to order the below upgrade with the stones (on unit of the listing below per stone - then our suppliers will make them order with reinforcement for you).

These can be cut on site, you would need to use an angle grinder.

150mm width and 30mm thickness. Would need 2 pieces: 760mm and 480mm long. Are you able to do these sizes? If yes, what would be the price

I am afraid the coping stones are only available in the 600mm lengths and colours on this listing no custom lengths or colours available, apologies.
