The FAKRO low pitch flashing has been manufactured by FAKRO to increase the angle of installation by up to 10 degrees on a slate roof. This allows a standard roof window to be installed on low pitched roofs where it would otherwise be unsuitable.
This low pitch flashing can be used on roofs that are made up of slates that are up to 10mm thick, as well as a number of other flat roofing materials that are no thicker than 10mm, including natural slates, fibre cement slates, roofing shingles and more.
FAKRO low pitch flashings are essential on low pitched roofs where you’re looking to install a pitched roof window. Without a low pitch flashing, a pitched roof window will not be installed correctly on a low pitched roof, because it enables the angle of installation to be increased by 10 degrees.
