I very easy to cut and it can be folded easy at the edges. It also very strong ideal for this job

This is for outside use - You would need a vapour control instead

No You would need to battern the roof first

we are building a timber frame extension and have covered it with ply and then fixing some type of render board over the top for rendering do we need the house wrap in between?
Answer:
If you have an air gap between the board and the ply then best to use the housewrap and counterbatten to be able to fix the render board to.

on a garage roof with no insulation in roof can it be fixed directly to osb then battened and tiled as normal?

Yes you could apply it like that.

We are building some stud walls attached to external walls, would this be suitable to tack onto the back of the stud wall.
Answer:
Yes this would be suitable, please see below from Tyveks own literature.
'DuPont™ Tyvek® Housewrap is the ideal breathable membrane for timber frame wall systems, and is also suitable for steel frame and concrete wall construction. It is surface-applied, and should be fixed directly to the sheathing ply/OSB, insulation or blockwork.'

Hi do you have a preferred method when fixing to blockwork?
Answer:
You would normally fix through and use a butyl tape under where you are fixing to ensure the envelope stays sealed.

Can this be used as a breather membrane under a slated roof?
Answer:
No, this is for timber frame wall applications. Take a look under Pitched Roofing > Roofing Membranes > Breathable Membranes.
