The resilient Tyvek® top sheet will also effortlessly accommodate structural shifts. Compatible with a wide variety of construction materials, this Tyvek® FlexWrap will mould snugly to both commonplace and unique forms, from windows to chimney breasts, ensuring enduring protection through its airtight, watertight seals.
Prior to installation, ensure the surface is free from contaminants, like grease, moisture, dirt and ice, that might hinder adhesion. This Tyvek® FlexWrap adheres best when dry and in temperatures surpassing 0°C. For sub-zero temperatures and challenging surfaces, a primer can aid application.
For a secure installation, position this Tyvek® FlexWrap meticulously around the surface, sealing it securely. Minimise imperfections by smoothing out wrinkles and bubbles through repositioning. Employ hand pressure to firmly bond the entire surface to the substrate. (Note that repositioning may become challenging after applying pressure.) Within four months of installation, cover this Tyvek® FlexWrap with suitable building materials for comprehensive protection.
