External angle roof tiles are ideal for fitting tricky corners and come in colours that are unlikely to fade throughout use. Dreadnought Tiles, a Staffordshire-based manufacturer, have been creating clay roof tiles with locally sourced Etruria Marl Clay for beyond 215 years. Due to this material, which is also used to make Staffordshire Blue Class A Engineering Bricks, the tiles offer high strength and durability. Dreadnought also offers a variety of handmade clay roof tile fittings to coordinate with all tile colours.
The entire spectrum of Dreadnought colours, ranging from blues, brindles, and browns to reds, is achieved through a kiln atmosphere that is controlled carefully without resorting to artificial stains or coloured sands. This forms natural quality tiles with distinctive colours to enhance the quality and visual appeal of a range of roofs.
For added character and charm across different buildings, this traditional and natural blend of rich red, brown, and blue multi-coloured tiles is obtained with skilled control of the burning process. As a result, the diverse range of colours cannot be replicated artificially.
