Before application, clearing the substrate of jagged edges and loose materials is needed with the use of a vacuum if possible. The cleaner the surface, the better the result.
Providing a 1.2mm membrane when applying 1.5 to 1.8kg per m², this waterproof coating requires a dry surface, and if it is wet, wait to apply the primer. Dry any damp spots with a gas torch or heat gun. Evenly and carefully add a primer so it does not pool, with 0.2kg per m² required. With Same-Day Elastathane Rapid Cure PU Primer, you should allow it to dry for two to four hours, depending on humidity and temperature. For flawless chemical bonding and adhesion, use this Elastathane 25 PU membrane immediately after the primer has dried.
If encountering a delay in application of the main coat due to rain or any other reason, use Next-Day Elastathane Super Seal Primer and wait 24 hours before adding this Elastathane 25, enabling the primer to absorb and cure while securing itself to the substrate and offering perfect chemical bonding as well as adhesion. With a terrific memory retaining its chemical bonding long after the next day primer, you can apply this Elastathane 25 liquid membrane on top of the next day primer after a day/week/month, but you will have to wait at least 12 hours before adding the layer.
