Find out moreThis Cromar Elastathane 25 is a one-coat, rapid curing, polyurethane, liquid-applied waterproof coating. Before applying this waterproof coating, cleaning the substrate of loose material and jagged edges like stones is required, and if possible, use a vacuum. The better the surface, the better the finished result.
An application of 1.5 to 1.8kg per m² provides a 1.2mm membrane. A dry surface is needed. If wet, do not apply the primer. Damp spots can be dried with a gas torch or heat gun. Carefully and evenly apply the primer so that it does not pool with the necessity of 0.2kg per m². When using same-day Elasta Thane rapid cure PU primer, you should allow it to dry for two to four hours, depending on temperature and humidity. For perfect adhesion and chemical bonding, use the Elasta Thane 25 PU membrane as soon as the primer has dried.
If there will be a delay in the application of the main coat due to rain or any other reason, apply the next day Elasta Thane super seal primer and wait 24 hours before applying the Elasta Thane 25 coating, allowing the primer to absorb and cure while anchoring itself to the substrate and providing seamless chemical bonding as well as adhesion. This primer has an excellent memory and will retain its chemical bonding long after the next day primer has been applied, meaning you can add the Elasta Thane 25 liquid membrane a day/week/month later but no sooner than after 12 hours.

Answer:
I am afraid the suppliers advise this is not suitable for use in a metal box gutter, you may be better off with a product like Acrypol.
