Product will remain soft and slippery and hard to climb for several years.
Intruders attempting to climb will be thoroughly clogged and coated with a greasy deposit.
Application
A brush or mitt applied non-oxidising coating easily applied to most surfaces.
For use on wood, metal and masonry.
Installation guide
Clean down and remove all loose and flaking material to provide a good key to the substrate.
High gloss or very smooth surfaces should be thoroughly abraded, scraped and sanded to assist adhesion.
Any absorbent or bituminous surfaces should be sealed with a suitable primer or sealer and any new unpainted surfaces should be appropriately primed.
Metal surfaces should be scraped and primed with a zinc phosphate primer.
Apply with a short haired brush or industrial mitt, smoothing to an uniform finish.
It is most important that an effective thickness is applied (approx 0.5mm to 1mm, not more than this).
Do not thin.
Wear gloves and only apply to areas over arms reach (i.e over 7 feet above ground level or areas not subject to legitimate daily use).
It is recommended that the presence of Cromar anti climb paint be clearly identified to the public (e.g. use warning notices).
Cromar anti climb paint operates best in areas where the temperature does not normally exceed 30ºC.
Coverage
Approximate coverage per 4kg tin = 6.8m2.
