Find out moreBoth lightweight and resistant to impact, this Corotherm 16mm Opal Triplewall Polycarbonate Roof Sheet is ideal for various roofing and glazing applications in and around the home and garden. These applications include canopies, veranda covers, carports, and greenhouses. Corotherm sheets can be handled, cut and fitted with ease, and they come with a 10-year guarantee.
While offering excellent protection against hailstones, vandalism, and unplanned damage, this sheet has insulating glazing properties that can achieve a uValue of 2.4 W/m²K. Its almost opaque nature makes it particularly favourable in built-up areas, where it delivers a private setting with a gentle and soft quality of light.
Moreover, this roof sheet minimises glare, which is particularly beneficial when you are studying or working. The sheet also removes sun hotspots while maintaining a bright environment, and with a light transmission of 42%, you can still appreciate the joys of sunlight.
With an up to 'Class 1' fire rating, polycarbonate is a self-extinguishing material. When exposed to flames, the material will melt away from them and stops once the source is removed.

A 16mm sheet that is 3000mm long can span up to 1040mm width under its own weight, if you fixing centres are wider than this would be best to put in some purlin supports to hold up the weight of the sheet.
