Highly versatile with its range of sizes to suit both small and large-scale projects, the 6mm thick Axgard® Patterned Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet is an ideal glazing solution for an array of applications, from bicycle sheds to shed windows. Its textured patterned surface mimics the properties of obscure Stippolyte glass, which distorts light, ensuring privacy.
The sheets provide a good level of light transmission and, thanks to the additional UV protection on the interior and exterior of the sheet, will not degrade under exposure to ultraviolet light. It is extruded from a polymer resin, which gives the sheet its durable, lightweight and flexible properties and enhances strength to be up to two hundred times stronger than glass.
Very lightweight for the easiest carrying and installation, the sheet's flexibility allows for a bend when creating a curved profile, a helpful feature for covered walkway or bicycle shed roof applications. After installation, the Axgard® Patterned Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet's Class 1 fire rating will not burn or act as fuel when subject to fire so you can rest easy.
When installing your sheets, there is no need to fear fracturing or splintering. Drill directly into them without any cracks, and their shatterproof bomb blast-resistant construction will prevent any breakage into tiny glass-like shards if exposed to high impact.
