I need to dispose of some very old (1950s)corrugated, roofing sheets that I think were reinforced with asbestos. They are about 8ft long x 2ft wide. I don't want to cut the sheets so wonder if I can double wrap them in 1000g polythene sheets, because your bags are too small.

You would need to check with your local recycling centre as they should only be using the assigned asbestos bags

I am a Leeds householder and have to dispose of some asbestos via the Leeds City Council (LCC) waste transfer station. LCC has stated that the "asbestos must be double wrapped in strong polythene (minimum of 1000 gauge)". Ten Red and ten Clear bags will be required. Could you please advise whether this product complies with the above LCC's requirements. Thanks in anticipation.
