Can you nail the shingles straight onto 18mm osb boards or do you need under felt?
Answer:
The underlay is recommended but not 100% necessary, you can fix the shingles straight to boards it you prefer.

There is not a ridge but you can cut the shingle strips in a pack down to create a ridge (see installation instructions), each pack of shingles when cut down into strips covers approx 11 linear metres.

I want to put roof shingles on top of a polycarbonate roof over my conservatory. Can you just use adhesive as I can't put nails through polycarbonate. If so, which adhesive should I use? Thank you

These IKO ones would need to be nailed so would not be suitable I am afraid. There is the self adhesive option below (but ideally you would also secure these with a nail).

These are not self adhesive, they will need fixing with a couple of clout nails and felt lap adhesive.

Answer:
If the roof area is 7m x 10m that would be 70m² so you would need 35 packs, always worth adding a couple of packs on in case of in site wastage.

How many packs to cover 4m long x 2.4 pitch?
Answer:
That equates to 9.6m², so 5 x packs would cover you.

Answer:
As that equates to 12m² then 6 packs would cover you, but may be worth adding an extra pack and getting 7 to be on the safe side in case of wastage etc.
