Able to adhere to any substrate, such as timber, insulation, steel, blockwork and OSB, Passive Purple Airtight Liquid Vapour Control Membrane Brush removes the need for silicones and tapes. While alternative vapour control layers often require time-consuming damage repairs to holes and tears, Passive Purple eliminates these issues.

  • An M1 class, VOC-free solution, entirely free from harmful chemicals
  • Adheres to any substrate, including insulation, timber, steel, blockwork and OSB
  • Quick and easy to apply
  • Passivhaus certified score of 0.03ach
  • Removes the need for tapes and silicones
  • Each 3.7kg tub has a coverage of approximately 133 linear metres at 75mm

It has a Passivhaus certified score of 0.03ach (air changes per hour), which is twenty times lower than the required 0.6ach. So, for those who want to achieve certified Passivhaus or build to a Passivhaus standard, Passive Purple Airtight Vapour Control Membrane Brush is the ideal solution. As well as being BBA and Passivhaus certified, Passive Purple is also rated Fire Class C, unlike paper membranes, which are rated Fire Class E.

This vapour control membrane provides an excellent Radon Barrier to eliminate radon gasses from entering your building. As an M1 class, VOC-free solution, it is entirely free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for you and the environment.
