This Acrypol Tech Seal PU is a seamless, liquid waterproofing membrane consisting of a single component, polyurethane (PU). With a simple 2-coat system, this Acrypol Tech Seal is applied incredibly easily without the requirement to be mixed with any other materials.

This high-performance liquid membrane can be applied by brush or roller to a variety of surfaces including single ply, metal, concrete, felt, bituminous and asphalt. Rainproof in merely 2 hours, this Acrypol Tech Seal PU completely cures in 4 hours, providing a strong, durable and tough waterproof membrane. With a 20-year guarantee once this product has been installed on gutters, balconies and flat roofs, the polyurethane can also be applied to a wide range of applications including terraces, roofs, podium decks and much more.

Ideal for use on traditional roof build-ups and flat roof overlays, this waterproofing membrane does not need a primer for asphalt or bitumen roofs. On metal roofs and single-ply PVC, Acrypol TS PU Primer is required, for damp surfaces like concrete or timber, Acrypol TS Humidity Primer is essential and for dry concrete, Acrypol Porosity Seal Flex primer is necessary.

What area would a 25kg drum cover, and are there larger sheets of the mesh available? I have a flat roof made of new OSB, would it be suitable to cover in Acrypol, and would I need a reinforcing mesh across the entire surface, or just across the joints between the OSB boards?

Yes, you would be able to use the Acrypol Tech Seal PU over the top of a Polyether (STP) liquid. I would also recommend that you use Acrypol Flexible Reinforcement Mesh / Scrim White - 150mm x 20m | Roofing Superstore® as well if the roof has any current issues
