Description

The ACO FreeDeck mesh access frame grating is a stainless steel asset made for the FreeDeck range advanced roof and balcony drainage systems. It comes with a FACTA A rating. Combining line drainage with point drainage, this system uses an open-sided drainage channel system. The rainwater is collected and conveyed to drainage points with a raised or suspended deck structure, then intercepted at three points. This includes the surface run-off, percolation within the deck and rainwater outlet positions.

ACO's FreeDeck channel is manufactured using stainless steel and laid directly onto the insulation layer or waterproofing membrane. If the surface requires pavings to be laid 'open or closed joint', this provides efficient drainage. As a result, better safety for foot traffic and weathered protection of the building fabric. Compliance also includes national access regulations, providing level access drain in compliance with British Standards and Building Regulations.

For application, the FreeDeck is suitable for rainwater drainage and safe access for all types of suspended deck construction. It also details into all types of flat roof finishes, is practical within all applications throughout building life and protects and maintains the building fabric.
