Description

This FreeDeck is an intermediate-fixed section end plate manufactured from stainless steel. From ACO, the section is for advanced roof and balcony drainage systems of the FreeDeck range. Combining line drainage with point drainage and using an open-sided drainage channel system. How it works is the rainwater is collected and conveyed to drainage points with a raised or suspended deck structure. Then the rainwater is intercepted at three points, including the surface run-off, percolation within the deck and rainwater outlet positions.

For application ACO's FreeDeck channel is laid directly onto the insulation layer or waterproofing membrane. If pavings must be laid 'open or closed joint', this provides efficient drainage. The result is better safety for foot traffic and the building fabric has better weathered protection. For quality reassurance, the range also complies with national access regulations, providing level access drain in compliance with British Standards and Building Regulations.
