VELUX GPLS Roof Windows
VELUX GPLS roof windows share the same features as a VELUX GPL window, except they are available as either 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 options.
Each VELUX window type is distinguished by a code on the top right corner of the product. The first part of this code, or the first three letters, indicates the type, function, and material.
In the case of a VELUX GPLS window, the first ‘G’ tells us that the product type is a window.
The second letter, ‘P’, tells us that the functionality of the window is top-hung, meaning it works best on most standard pitched roofs ranging from 15-55 degrees. The top-hung design in a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 roof window is particularly desirable as it allows for a clear, unhindered view of the outside, and the extra surface area of the window can give it the same effect as a balcony.
The third letter ‘L’ indicates that the window is made from high-quality pine, rather than polyurethane.
VELUX 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 windows are either 2 or 3 windows combined into one frame, making installation quicker and easier, as there is no need to install multiple windows in multiple frames. VELUX GPLS roof windows are the ultimate when it comes to ventilating and letting daylight into your space.
